6.30 a.m., we got up to meet the Indian designer Tanveen Ratti from Organic Connect. After a short stop at her studio in New Delhi we battled our way through the rush hour of Delhi to reach Pilkhuwa, a small town where her products are being produced. There we got to know Arshad Kafeel a master craftman in wood carving. Formerly they produced blocks for traditional block printing but know they are also doing design products for Organic Connect. It's really fascinating how fast and precise they carve the filigree patterns into the rosewood. We got the opportunity to prove our own carving skills, but we failed.
