But staying there two weeks we had the time to dig a little deeper and explore the daily life. Mumbai being stuck on a narrow headland is a crowded and very lively megacity. In this condensed place you’ll find everywhere people running their micro-business.
Also Dharavi, located in the middle of the city and being one of Asia‘s biggest slums, is a huge production site with an impressive output. They produce everything from leather bags to pastries and a huge amount of Mumbai‘s waste is being recycled here.
