Die rostige Kette an der Kugel steht symbolisch für die Gefangenschaft und die Unfreiheit der Sklaven. Das Spiel von Macht und Ohnmacht sowie Damals und Heute spiegelt sich auch im Bühnenbild wieder.

Graphic art for the Theater Hohe Promenade – All of the posters, flyers, and tickets show a disco ball that refers to the Sklavenball as well as the importance of the play for the present. The rusty chain stands symbolically for the bondage of the slaves. The interaction of power and helplessness as well as past and present is reflected in the stage design too.
