A one hour flight from Delhi was just long enough for a small breakfast, and we definitely needed that after an excellent goodbye dinner and a short night. We arrived in Ahmedabad on the 5. October early in the morning.
The main reason why we came to Ahmedabad is design. Therefore we met Pravinsinh Solanki at the renowned National Institute of Design NID. He teaches students in the discipline of Furniture and Interior Design and is an expert in handcraft and bamboo. One can see and feel that his heart beats for bamboo and minimalistic design. So he showed us a part of his huge collection of bamboo products he has designed, mainly a large variety of hangers. But look for yourself...
